‘Marcel Moyse, Grand Old Man of the Flute’ is a one-hour documentary of Moyse’s life and art narrated by Sir James Galway.  The film includes interviews with Paula Robison, Pierre Rampal, Rudolf and Peter Serkin, Claude Frank, Blanche and Louis Moyse, Julia Bogorad and others.  Produced by Marcel’s grandsons Claude and Michel Moyse, it was made in the 1980s over a period of four years with the generous help of many people too many to mention.  Of special note is the narration written by Neal Weiner, as well as the contribution of Toby Frank (assistant film editor) and the financial assistance of the Vermont Council on the Arts.
